Welcome to antigenius presents, the newest endeavor of the antigenius. In the coming weeks I'll be publishing more specific content, but I wanted to write a small introduction on what this site is and what it hopes to achieve. In short, the goal of antigenius presents is to reviews of electronic artists and producers, both classic and new release. On occasion I also hope to provide continuous mixes created either by myself or others in the community.

In its current form, the website will be largely one-sided; effectively me, the anitgenius, telling you what I think. However, I am open to change and should helpful suggestions be made or features be requested, they will be added as I have time. I will do my best to tag posts to make it easier to search for content you want and, in turn, I will rely on you to comment on the various reviews. In a perfect world this will result in intelligent debate about why you do or do not agree with me. I hope to update the site on a biweekly basis which, I understand, is somewhat infrequent. Understand that I will update more frequently if possible and that this biweekly limit is just that; a deadline of sorts.

Before I finish I'll address the large player at the top of the blog. For starters, I personally think that if you're using MP3s for mixing, than the single best place to get them is BeatPort. Their site is clean and easy to use with one of the most intuitive interfaces I've ever seen (I am, in another life, a web developer and do not make such statements lightly).I recommend it for any DJ that needs access to a wide variety of music from a single place. The BeatPort Player, available from the aptly named website, allows you to embed a small Flash application on your website and will automatically update the playlist on a daily basis. It has various options for creating the playlist such as new release, classic releases, top downloads, and more and can even be narrowed to genre. I will cycle through various options on the player above. I hope you find it useful.

In closing I hope to created a respected source of material on electronic music and the scene surrounding it. It's as much a group effort as it is a single man's effort, but most of all I hope we can all have fun with it.
